Dare to be a Daniel?

Aussies who care do their share!

People think that influencing parliament requires the faith and bravery to dare to be a Daniel, but that is not so in Australia’s communal democracy. Members of Parliament are extremely helpful and value the input of voters. This superb democracy of ours is quite different to the Roman occupation of Christ’s time.

There is a far more effective way than street protests.

Our elected MPs really cannot do it on their own because they need ideas, solutions, suggestion, support from Aussies out there in our vast country. MPOs’ careers depend on doing what voters want but with 17 million voters to please, with millions of different views on anything, parliament can really only please those voters who tell every MP what is wanted. That helps them to find the MPs most interested in that topic. Ask and you will most likely receive. Don’t ask or tell the decision-makers what you want and there is not much chance of receiving it. Votergrams provide every Aussie with the chance to do some Polite Persistent Political Persuasion in the Privacy of Parliament. It has worked well for almost 40 years. It is about treating MPs as you would like to be treated yourself.

Collecting  tablets from the local Pharmacy

When I collected my tablets recently, the chemist told me their generic supplier had changed. Years ago just one Votergram from a Pharmacist in Taree persuaded Parliamentarians to make generic substitutes legal, saving patients and taxpayers  a mountain of money. People have shaped society by Votergram ever since 1986.

It was also pharmacists who used Votergrams to get the $1.5 billion a year Community Pharmacy Agreements that enable them to provide the cheaper medications to those who need them.

You, as an Aussie voter, can too!

How can you alone do the same – shape society?  Easy!!  Send Votergrams to parliament on the issues that concern you. Don’t leave the shaping of your society to the big business billionaires, ,highly paid lobbyists and vested interests alone. Even the democratic playing ground by expressing your views forcefully via www.votergrams.au. Your VoterPower is very much greater than what most people think.
